Do the clothes make the man? Can losing everything set you free? What is the naked truth?

Torn Out Theater asks these questions and more with Mere Flesh and Blood, combining scenes from past productions with new, innovative takes from our favorite collaborators. If you missed the productions that made headlines around the world, or just want to experience the thrill of classic stories told in brave new ways, Mere Flesh and Blood will take you on a tour through theatrical classics, stripped down to their essentials.

Every body tells a story, and this summer, we’ll explore the stunning range and depth of those stories. See where Torn Out has gone and where we're going, and join the conversation about what nudity means onstage and in our world today.
